In our Comprehensive Life Skills class, we will use manipulatives to assist each student at their unique, differentiated levels. Being tangible, the clocks and money enhance learning which results in a more meaningful learning experience during our functional academic assignments. The plastic bands help our learners with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder remain focused and in their seats during instruction. The paint, pens, ink pads, journals, glue sticks, crayons, and markers will be used by my students in their social and emotional learning, illustrating journal entries, and an array of art projects. The scanner saves time for us as teachers so that we can focus on instruction.
