The flexible seating and books I am requesting entice my students into reading more than one book. GLCS is committed to the idea that twenty minutes of reading a day has significant benefits for a child. A student who reads twenty minutes a day reads one million eight hundred thousand words a year. By the time that student reaches sixth grade, they will have been reading the equivalent time to sixty school days. Help me introduce a love of reading to my students from their first days in school! Thank you!
