My students took the initiative to come to me with an idea for a volleyball club last year. Currently we have a net and a court but have been using one ball and some knees have been scraped and bruised. These volleyballs and kneepads will allow my students to get more time touching the ball and learning the game. The kneepads will be for support and protection as they get more confident and start sliding around on the floor more.
These students have already made the positive choice in starting this club and attending, they just need a little support. They have decided to stay and play volleyball instead of going off to make poor choices. Many of these students have found a love for the game just by trying something new.
