Students need support in reading and writing to make up for losses they incurred during the pandemic and school closure. A classroom filled with books, and especially stories of hope and perseverance are essential. The books requested, especially Man's Search for Meaning, will hopefully foster close reading, discussion, and written analysis. Additionally, having access to a wide range of texts can help foster a student's love of reading. The books and resources will support the following standards: ELA 11. RI. 1 ELA 11. RI. 2 ELA 11. W. 1 a-e
