My Project includes the following standards taken from the Nevada Welding Standards. The welding helmets would fall under safety procedures standards. The other standards represent what we will be covering in the course along with safety. Welding Technology Standards.7-8.Safety Procedures Welding Technology Standards.7-8.Fundamental Print Reading Welding Technology Standards.7-8.Identify Metal Properties Welding Technology Standards.7-8.APPLY SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (SMAW) TECHNIQUES By the end of the course, students will be able to be safe in a working shop environment, knowing the potential risks and hazards along with being able to read blueprints for creating projects and also learn the basic positions of welding and being to use different types of rod with those positions. We will be using Miller Open Books to assist with the delivery of the curriculum.
