These requested resources will contribute to: (SL.K.1-2.1) Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grade 6 topics, texts, and issues, building on others' ideas and expressing their own clearly.
The camera and other materials I have chosen will be used to build a visual bridge between school and home, to provide a pictured context for students to engage in discussions about events and activities undertaken at school with their families at home. By creating picture books of events and activities at school and creating a book with these visuals, students will be supported in engaging in discussions at home about their daily life, with increased context and visual support.
