Traditionally our mornings in Kindergarten begin with a review worksheet called "morning work". With new materials my goal is to create hands-on tubs of materials where students will explore, learn, and problem solve as their "morning work". COVID kept A LOT of children out of preschools and many Kinders are struggling with fine motor and social skills. I have created some tubs using materials that I have in the classroom. You can feel and hear the excitement in the room when it is "Tub Time". In order to keep this activity going throughout the year I am in need of some more supplies. Hands on activities are fun, engaging, and will allow my students to learn through "play".
