My project will focus on language development and literacy. Students with strong language skills go on to become the best readers. Students have been learning via a screen and it has been difficult for children to communicate and interact with peers and adults. Due to COVID-19 Speech and language skills have declined this has made it very difficult for students to have access to language learning and literacy. I will use these materials for language therapy and to develop students communication skills as well as phonemic awareness and story telling abilities. These tools will allow me to send home activities for students to better develop their skills and cross over to the school. These tools will cover all Speaking and Listening standards as well as some ELA. These resources will allow me to develop language therapy that can improve language and literacy outcomes for my students.
