I will be using these materials to set up a Literacy Lab in my school. Many students are struggling with reading because they missed crucial phonics instruction. Many students didn't log on or spend the amount of time they normally would have learning these skills. As a result, they are behind in reading. These materials will help my students to build their phonemic awareness and phonics skills. By improving these skills their overall reading will improve. A lab will be a central location for these items. I will also be working with small groups in the lab using these materials.
