At our school we have students from all over the globe! It's time to make our resources reflect the population that we serve! As the School Counselor, I have the privilege of going into most of the classrooms and teaching Social Emotional Learning, but my resources are outdated and limited. I would love some help in creating a diverse library and updated materials. With new books that represent the identity and culture of our students we can build meaningful connections among students. Our discussions can stem from the topics in the books and children can see people who look like them in literature. The students will be excited to discuss the current topic and make real-world connections. Thank you for all of your help!
