The products/materials that I have chosen will help my students meet their IEP goals in foundations skills for reading and math. I have several students who struggle with blending and segmenting sounds, causing them to struggle with reading and writing. The letter cubes and letter matching cards will be used to add a hands-on component to engage the students in their literacy practice. The math manipulatives and number cards will add an extra component to my math lessons and give the students some "fun" with difficult concepts for them. Special education seems to be a lot of "drill and kill," but I want to change that for my students! K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.5, K.CC.C.7, RF.K.1, RF.K.2, RF.K.3, RF.1.2, RF.1.3, L.1.1
