The items on my wish list will be used in speech and language therapy and they will do so much to help my students improve their speaking, listening, reasoning, and problem solving skills! My students range in age from preschool to twelfth grade and they have communication disorders that vary from mild to severe. They all have different abilities and goals. Some of the things they are working on are: speech sounds, sentence formulation, listening skills, following directions, answering questions, social skills, non-verbal communication, and so much more! My students work so hard and they would love some fun, engaging, and effective materials to use in speech therapy. Many of my students speak more than one language - an impressive feat for anyone, regardless of having a communication disability! Most of my students are considered economically disadvantaged. I want to give them the best therapy I possibly can and these materials will help tremendously.
