Class read alouds are a great way to expose students to new literature as well as teach our literature standards. They also incorporate themes that connect to our students' daily lives, making reading more exciting and relatable. I am requesting a class set of a read-aloud favorite, Fish in a Tree.
This novel, Fish in a Tree, is a new novel that fosters the theme of inclusion and respecting each other's differences, themes that our fifth graders definitely need to be exposed to! With a full class set, each student will be able to fully engage in the novel which will foster deeper understanding.
