The COVID pandemic has wreaked havoc on our students. Many students, nationwide, are not only behind in their mathematics education, but are also experiencing major instructional gaps, as a result of absences related to COVID.
Students learning mathematics from home are entitled to the same professional and engaging lesson presentations their peers in the classroom are receiving.
Being able to create lessons on an iPad for my students will result in consistent and equitable access for all students. In particular, NVAC Standards F-IF.C.7 through F-IF.C.8 require effective demonstrations for graphing and interpreting functions.
