These resources will help my students develop an understanding of communicative intent and develop the means to communicate wants and needs in social and functional speaking situations. SL.K.1-SL.5.1
Not being able to speak is not the same as not having anything to say. These resources will provide my students the ability to communicate with color picture symbols and tangible reinforcers to promote positive behaviors. Having a standing desk converter will allow me to quickly transition between activities, provide immediate reinforcement for students when appropriate, and allow students to view my monitors from their desks with a clear visual field.
