The items I am requesting are essential to the success of this project. My students will be creating pinch pot forms from clay. These will be textured and glazed to form the jellyfish body. The requested air plants will be secured inside and create the effect of tentacles! The completed jellyfish will be suspended from the ceiling of my art room, where all students in the school will enjoy the creative efforts of the 3rd graders.
We are so excited about this project. Clay is probably the art tool that my students get most energized about. In fact, when I announce a clay project, students usually clap and cheer!
