As a second grade teacher, I am responsible for teaching my students science topics and most learn best with hands on materials. Many of my students come from a community that has limited experience in STEM activities. While we do have several museums near by, many of my families cannot afford to enjoy these opportunities. These hands-on STEM kits will allow me to provide my students with the needed materials to enjoy and learn about STEM. These will be used as opportunities for the students to explore some much needed hands-on experiences.
