They will help my students to learn daily life skills that will help them function in their lives outside of school. By playing, sharing and engaging with each other in our classroom during break, down and recess time they grow substantially with each item they use. The kitchen will teach our students not only co-play but, can serve as an academic tool that can teach math (sequencing), science (temperature) and reading (labels). The magnet center will accompany our learning centers by doubling as a social item but, also as an educational tool with our children in learning basic math and reading skills. Playing is LEARNING too!
