Many of my students, at certain points during the year, become exempt due to COVID. During the time they are exempt I need to make copies of work that is necessary for their learning. If I do not have a working printer in my room it makes it difficult to get materials copied for them. So I'm asking for a working printer to share with my grade level for this purpose. This gives access for all of our students to learn. The Nevada Academic Content Standards addressed are our essential ones like ELA RI.4.1, RI.4.2, Math 4.0A.A, and 4.NBT.A . Students and teachers alike are overwhelmed and stressed with the recent events of Covid and need coping mechanisms. Therefore I am asking for some growth mindset posters and literature to better our minds for learning and managing our emotions. The workbooks, posters, and literature are for helping guide us towards inner peace. Once we can be ready to learn, then we can focus on the learning of our Nevada Academic Content Standards. I'm also asking for copies of a lovely book for literature circles. Students need a copy regardless of being virtual or live. This book teaches us about friendship and working together. It is also a tool to address comprehension and language standards from the Nevada Academic Content Standards: ELA RL.4.2, RL.4.3, W.4.4, SL.4.1, SL.4.4 and L.4.6. Lastly, I'm asking for PE equipment because exercise is essential for our well-being. It also teaches teamwork and bonding. I would use the basketballs and footballs for organized games, so students are showing teamwork and are ready for learning. We all need brain breaks and exercise. Thank you.
