In the fourth grade science performance expectations, students are expected to demonstrate grade-appropriate proficiency in asking questions, developing and using models, planning and carrying out investigations, analyzing and interpreting data, constructing explanations and designing solutions, engaging in argument from evidence, and obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information. Students are expected to use these practices to demonstrate understanding of the core ideas. Hands on math manipulatives and stem kits will give each student the chance to make abstract ideas more concrete and easier to understand and makes learning fun. These manipulatives and kits will help each student develop their own learning and understanding of math and science standards. Working on their own, or in small groups, each student can have success in their learning journey.
