These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom I strive to create. My classroom library is the focal point where my students' are read to, study in there, and enjoy their independent reading. This place is their favorite in the classroom. Children are taught to treat the books respectfully. Students are able to choose books which helps them to enjoy independent reading time longer. They choose books that hold their interest. Reading more is one of the best ways to increase each student's reading ability. They have shown a lot of interest in independent reading and want to continue to build on it, this project will help enrich their experiences through the printed word.

About my class
