The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed some glaring problems with our population's understanding of health and the human body. Nevada science standard LS1.B specifically covers growth and development of organisms. In 20 years of teaching science it has been my experience that there is no better way to engage middle school students with the human body than a life-sized skeleton. Unfortunately our new school does not have any skeletons with which to help students understand the structure and function of the human body. With your donation I hope to spark and inspire student interest in anatomy and physiology!
