I teach middle school math to over 100 amazing and unique students. Our classroom currently looks like a jail! Having a beautiful learning environment allows students to see that they are cared for and that they deserve quality materials. I want my students to feel good coming into my class. I want them to know they have an option of sitting at a desk that is not the ones provided by the district. Calculators are in constant use and I want to have enough for everyone. I want my students to feel nurtured. Through Covid-19, they have had a lot more social and emotional needs and having positive loving environments is a closer step towards meeting those needs.

About my class
