My students must have manipulatives in order to learn to count, understand quantity, the concept of more and less, and to add and subtract. My students cannot learn these skills only seeing numbers and typical math problems presented to typical children. They need visual supports in order to learn most skills. Most of my students are below grade level in almost every subject, and need quality products to help them gain skills faster. Our school is focused on maximizing each students ability to become independent and succeed in moving to a less restrictive environment
