The C-pen reader will help students with a disability access grade level reading content and help them be successful in all classes. The students will be reading material and completing projects throughout their school. One of the projects this year students struggle with is the Chautauqua. The students are required to read grade level material on characters in history and then create a poster timeline. Then the students will dress up as their character and present their information to the class. The pen reader will help students complete their reading independently so they can comprehend the material. The students can access the reading material and directions in a discrete way without letting other students know their reading level and without an aide. It will help create independence for our students in all classes and all reading assignments. It will also help them in all aspects of their life. The printer will help complete a color timeline on this project as well as help all student in upcoming years and other projects.
