I am requesting these items for creating tie-dye for my grade level because these students have possibly never been on a field trip, and with the help of this project they will create something that enhances our science curriculum that they can keep and will love the memory! The entire grade level will have an experience that will foster social-emotional learning and will be fun and engaging in the process. The shirts and socks will be used to tie-dye with the dyes we are requesting after we have discussed the process of how matter can be reversible or irreversible. Students will enjoy this hands-on activity and apply their science knowledge in the process. Help me give these children that have been the most impacted by COVID the experience to create with their classmates through science and art. They will be ecstatic and will get to wear their creation all year long!
