These books and activities will help students identify and understand their emotions. The color printer will help provide colorful, engaging, and meaningful center activities and will allow students to practice their social skills and work collaboratively with their teammates. Many social emotional centers use color for identifying the emotions or feelings students are feeling which is more engaging for children especially for children of younger ages.
Due to the effects of COVID-19, students need direct instruction on identifying what the different emotions are, identifying and understanding the emotions they feel, and learning ways on how to cope with those different feelings in regards to themselves and others.
All of these tools will provide students the opportunity to effectively and appropriately communicate and express their thoughts and feelings through learning and play in their learning environment. The books will allow for read alouds with teacher-led exploration of feelings, as well as reading skills such as theme and understanding characters.
