In my Math classroom, I created a library of Math resources, literacy, and Math manipulatives for my students using shelves. When Hurricane Ida hit, my shelves were destroyed. Presently, I have nowhere to store my student's resources which currently are displaced on the floor. These resources assisted my students visually through hands-on activities and increase their reading skills in Mathematics. The Math materials are used at home to assist my students in their learning process. My goal is to create a sense of normalcy and an environment that is inviting to learning.
