A major part of learning is that students feel safe and comfortable in their environment. These items will hopefully help students feel a semblance of normalcy in my classroom they may not currently feel at home due to the destruction that Hurricane Ida caused. Included in my list are the supplies necessary for a teacher to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment. Some items are classroom decorations to brighten up the gray walls and make my classroom more welcoming for students. Other items like a printer and writing utensils are necessary for myself to plan and present lessons. Also included are supplies for student use like ink pens and paper.
