These materials will help me create activities that are more fun and engaging to be used with students with different skill levels. The printer will be the most useful for me to be able to do this. Not having easy access to a color printer at any given time makes it difficult for me to print a last minute lesson that I think will work great for one specific student. I also have students who use pictures to communicate throughout the day so it will be very helpful to be able to print out the pictures they need as they need them. The books will complete my language themes! My goal has been to use evidence based practice so I finally found language units that are supported by research. This will help me target the comprehension of story elements and reading foundational skills that are in the Nevada Academic Content Standards.
