Creating a classroom with structure relies on having physical boundaries for different learning activities. My students learn best when they visually see their workstations set up and defined with physical boundaries. In addition, many of my students are easily distracted by sound and movement. Having these barriers will greatly reduce outside distractions and increase learning time!
Research shows that when students with neurodiverse needs have access to a highly structured learning environment paired with individualized learning materials, their ability to demonstrate their knowledge increases. Help me create an environment in which students can thrive!
