This world map will assist with everything we go through in class. While students have access to Google Maps, this will help them orient themselves to where we are learning in history. This will also be used for various projects as students present about different parts of the world. It fits the Nevada Academic Content Standard of SS.9-12.WH.33. Create, interpret, and utilize maps that display and explain the geo-spatial patterns of cultural, economic, political, and environmental characteristics.
Additionally, even though everything we try to do is paperless, there are still plenty of activities that are assisted by paper copies, and sometimes new students or students who do not have their laptops can use paper versions of assignments and information.
