We work on mini research projects in class. Students conduct research using a research data base and provided research resources to answer assigned essential questions. They also design their own research questions using the provided question stems. At the beginning of their research, they design questions that guide their research at the knowledge and comprehension levels, and then midway through, they design questions that guide your research at the application and analysis levels. Then, as their research goes deeper, and gets more sophisticated, they design questions that guide more research at the synthesis and application levels. Then we have a Socratic Seminar to explore and test the findings of their research.
