My books will stay in the classroom, easily accessible for all students to check out and read during our daily silent reading time, or to take home and enjoy for more reading practice. A classroom library will support RL7.10, RI 7.10, RL8.10, and RI 8.10, where students can increase the amount of literature they engage in reading, and increase comprehension levels along with the sheer enjoyment of a good book. These readily available books will also provide a resource for students who are not able to afford books of their own.
