Wiggle seat cushions and wobble stools will be used as flexible seating for students with sensory needs in my classroom. These will be used in conjunction with noise-cancelling headphones for students who will benefit from using them. LEGO bricks and the magnetic activity set will be used to support students with their STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) learning. They will have a chance to socialize with each other while using these items and build friendships. The flexible seating options will not only be used by students who have sensory needs, but also by students who need to have small movement breaks while learning.
