This will be a class set, so students in all four of my fully included gen ed classes can share them. We will be reading them together in class. They’ve expressed that they hate reading, so we will practice analytical reading together, using a story that will be relevant to their own lives. Most of the characters in the story are teenagers, and there are multiple perspectives presented in the story. Using a story about characters like them, they’ll learn analytical reading skills while exploring social justice issues as well.
