Teaching a self contained primary class is not easy, I need to think outside the box and not just stick on a paper and pencil activities. The primary goal for my students is they will be able to fully develop the pre requisites skills needed for them to do complex task and even cope up with real world situations.
My students love to learn in fun ways. The use of manipulatives, flashcards, and toys as an instructional materials make them more engaged in all activities given. It does not just enhance their skills in socialization but also with the different developmental areas such as reading readiness, counting, solving simple problems, eye hand coordination, increase frustration tolerance and fine motor.
