Math scores across the United States are declining. This trend was only made worse when we shut our schools down due to Covid-19. Students at my school were already achieving below grade level. I needed to find a way to make solving math problems more engaging.
This year I was fortunate to have large whiteboards hung all around my room(360 classroom style). My students stand and solve math problems while standing side to side. I am requesting supplies to ensure that my students can continue to work using markers and the whiteboards.
