Our chess club grew from only five students to over 20 this year so we don't have enough chess boards. In a way, it's a great problem to have. Unfortunately, there's lots of watching others play rather than getting to play. The students would like to host a tournament but we don't have timers.
Chess club brings together a diverse population of students from all grades, all academic levels, different languages and ethnicities. It's an opportunity for these students to get to know each other independent from the classroom setting.
