I am requesting an iPad and case. Technology has come a long way and can be a great tool for children who are non-verbal, and struggle to communicate. We will use the iPad in school to ease anxiety and help reach individual goals. We will give all students a voice through various iPad apps and teach them to communicate effectively. Students will learn to express themselves and communicate their wants and needs so they can be successful in the future. I truly believe that my students can learn to engage in a purposeful conversation given the right tool to communicate.
