RI.2.10 By the end of year, read and comprehend informational texts, including history/social studies, science, and technical texts, in the grades 2-3 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed at the high end of the range.
My students will use all of these materials to help advance their literacy in the classroom. The ability to use non fiction Scholastic News articles in a flexible classroom will allow them to read and learn in a calm environment. Since every student learns in their own unique way, having multiple options for my students to sit and learn is top priority.
