The books will help build our classroom library. Since my students are young, it can be hard to find books that they are able to independently read on their own. I know having a classroom library with books at their reading level is going to motivate them to learn how to read on their own. Since the kids are new to reading this is going to help foster their love and interest of reading, they will be able to take the books home and practice reading them with their trusted adult.
