1. The air purifier will help keep the classroom more healthy for students and teachers. Keeping students healthy keeps them coming to school. 2. All other materials here will help with student engagement. These products will be used to help students learn vocabulary throughout several units of study. The materials will be used for Hexagonal Thinking, which is a strategy aimed at helping students make meaning of the concepts learned in class. This is especially useful in a social studies class because the concepts from several units intertwine. SS 9-12.CE.13-53. & AP Government CON 1-4 3. The charging station is to help with the 1:1 technology that students bring to class. Having one place for them to charge their devices will be easier than navigating the various outlets around the room. 4. The laminator will help me to create manipulatives for my students to use and engage with on a regular basis.
