Concerts are essential to helping students with their confidence in performance just like public speech, and also a chance to showcase their hard work. With the pandemic, school's music programs have not had an in-person concert for a couple years. With regulations being lifted, concerts are permitted. Many of my students are low income children from families who have been hit particularly hard by Covid. I want students to feel the unity of being dressed in concert attire for their December concert, but I don't want to put families in a difficult spot. With these loaner pants to keep in the school, it takes off a lot of the burden on parents with financial difficulties. With your donations, we, as a whole, are contributing the rebirth of music in schools.
