The materials I am requesting for my class will help students feel comfortable in their reading and writing environment. I have a few flexible seating options that my students enjoy very much, and would like to add some more to my classroom. This really motivates the students feel at home in the classroom and motivates them during their independent time. I would also like to add some items to the classroom to contribute to the safety of my classroom. I would like to reduce the risk of spreading germs in the classroom. I want to be able to supply students with their own highlighters, scissors, headphones, computer mice, and glue sticks so they will not have to share in our current state. All of these materials will promote all of the ELA content standards as well as social emotional standards being covered in the classroom.
