My students are very eager to learn how to read. With a listening center, my students will be able to hear a book being read to them and follow along in their own copy. This will help my students continue to be engaged in reading and build skills along the way. They will be able to retell the book, discuss key details, talk about the characters and ask and answer questions about the story. It will provide my students with an additional opportunity to have access to more stories.
Listening to stories sparks a child's imagination! They are able to create a picture of what is happening in the story. With this listening center, my students have an opportunity to become amazing readers this year! Thank you so much for your support!
