I have thirteen male students on the autism spectrum that love to learn and enjoy meeting new people. They are sweet, kind, and loving. Whenever they met new people, they engage with them and want to see new people more often. These students need love and kindness for them to be willing to complete tasks toward their IEP goals. They are the reason I go to work everyday and enjoy what I do.
I know with the appropriate resources, their ability to learn new information will improve their well-being and give them confidence to task risks in learning. No matter what their disabilities are, everyone deserves a chance to be included and to be recognized
