I want to be able to have a classroom rug to foster a sense of a classroom family amongst our students! I want to have a safe place where we come in together to talk and feel safe. Our rug will be a place for my students to come together to communicate, to play, to listen to books, to get to know each other, and to create a classroom family community! With a rug, we will be able to develop feelings of belongingness in our classroom! It is very important to me for my students to feel accepted and that they belong! A rug would be a great place to create this for my students!
