Currently we have 11 laptops or Chromebooks in our classroom. With 22 students, this translates into students having access to technology every other day or less than 50% of independent or group work. With more technology in the classroom, the opportunities to extend and expand their learning and create unique projects including PowerPoint presentations, typed essays and stories, and even videos increase dramatically. I want to get technology into the hands of my students every day. The more exposure, experience and practice that my students have, the more successful we will all be in achieving 21st century learning goals and objectives.
