My students who are all in US middle school as English language learners will be able to listen to text and directions in English or Spanish. Being able to listen at their own pace will remove language barriers that often interfere with learning.
Struggling learners are often so very bright!
The headphones that are available are older and often broken. They are also not portable enough for students to carry from class to class, which this year is a bigger issue because lockers are not being used and students are carrying all their belongings all day long.
